New Improved Pack Meetings!

We are bringing order back to the Pack meetings!

• Our meetings will be held monthly on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30PM (exceptions apply for holidays).  Scouting is intended to be a year long program so we will be bringing back an annual program for our scouts!
• I plan to keep the meeting to an hour – in order to do so, we need people to show up on time and adults need to use the opportunity to teach their children proper indoor behavior.  If you have upset or impatient siblings in waiting, I kindly request that you take them out to the hallway so the meeting is not disrupted.  The same request will be made for any scout that may have trouble with behavior during the meeting.  I clearly want to be inclusive in our celebration while having families home getting kids ready for bed on time and this will help the meeting move more efficiently.
• The purpose of aPack meeting is to CELEBRATE our scouts and the achievements  they have accomplished in the month since the last meeting.  Each scout that is attending their Den meetings and working within their rank specific handbook with their Akela will receive their earned achievement(s) each month.
• When needed, we may have “scout-free, children-free adult only” Pack meetings so we can get out necessary information/announcements to the parents.  Hopefully we can have our Troop provide some Den Chiefs to help run a program while these occur.  Stay tuned . . .
• We will be working towards the National Summertime Pack Award by having Pack events throughout the summer. Stay tuned as we get things planned!
